And… We’re meeting together in what (God willing) will be our new location for worship services – 4039 Brentwood Rd NW (the building formerly known as Rocky Mountain Bible College). Join us for service! 10:10 am.

Hillside and New Hope look at mirror passages. Rich shares 5 observations on 1 John 4:7-18.
Rich Braaksma on how Jesus reveals God’s shepherd heart.
Rich Braaksma preaching on February 25 about Jehosophat and the singing armies putting their trust in God.
This past Sunday we sang our way through Scripture with theme tables and songs to represent Creation, Fall, Holy History, Christmas, Cross, Easter, and New Life by the Spirit. We took this pic to represent some of the places where God is at work in us this week – you and I are the site of God’s moving and acting! This Sunday, Feb 1 will be on “Risk and Living Off the Rails.” The Following Sunday, Feb 8 is “Grace, Galatians, and The Merchant of Venice.”
Two great services! On the 21st we enjoyed the KidZone Christmas play. Great job by all the kids in helping us get into the Christmas story and enjoy the message of love come down to dwell with us. Then December 23rd we had a good candlelight service and the opportunity to sing Christmas hymns and reflect together. Merry Christmas everyone. (PS – send Rich more pics and video clips and I’ll post them here!)
On November 9, 2014 our partners Edward and Millie Okiror visited Calgary and shared at Hillside. Hillside has been involved in supporting the work of World Renew and Edward and Millie in Uganda for over five years – fighting against HIV / AIDS in the area, providing adult and literacy education, forming micro-loan networks, and more. Our formal involvement with their ministry is through Partners in Hope, a ministry of Hillside, Emmanuel, and World Renew in Uganda. To find out more about Partners in Hope, to find out how to support Edward and Millie’s ministry, or to get on their mailing list email firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi All, we hope you are as happy as we are to see the error messages removed and a new look for Hillside’s website. Check here for announcements about opportunities and upcoming events, check out the calendar for important dates, and look for podcasts to start being posted here as well. We’d still love to get some more pictures up so if you have some – forward those along! Also, you might have noticed that under “Stuff We Do” there is a section to link to the various ministries and activities going on in YOUR life. There is a whole lot missing, so let us know about the organizations that are near and dear to your heart and we’ll feature those, too! Coming up, look for Hilbert to offer a blog post and some more info on next Sunday with special guest Edward Okiror!
